Our American Legion Post is derived of Military Veterans of all walks of life. We are a caring and energetic group of Veterans that understand the value of community, service, and support for each other.
Early on
The Post was created after World War II in 19xx, and named Chicog – Skye to give honor to Chicog, the 1st person from Lac du Flambeau who had died while in service during World War I. Also, the Skye was added as the 1st person who had died from Lac du Flambeau while in service during World War II. The Chicog-Skye Post serves Lac du Flambeau with selfless service.
Current
The Post is currently undergoing a Revitalization to address gaining back interest in the Legion, pursue growth and participation with membership and demonstrate community support to assist the citizens of the Lac du Flambeau community.
